Join our PFLASA FB Group!

We’re eager to welcome our new parents to our PFLASA Facebook group!
Group members are parents and staff members. We have discussions about pretty much anything LASA-related!

To join, please log on from a computer to facebook.com/groups/pflasa.

You will be prompted to answer 3 security questions on FB (one includes an external Google form) AND to agree to our group rules. If any part of the process is missing, your membership is automatically denied until 100% complete. You may resubmit at any time.

PS: This process does not work from a phone. FB groups don’t prompt membership questions on a handheld device.

Host a Great Gathering!

Great Gatherings (GGs) are an excellent way to build community and a fun way to help PFLASA’s fundraising efforts. So, grab some friends and host a party!

Hosts incur costs for the gathering and the ticket sales go to PFLASA. GGs can be held for your grade level to get to know your parent cohort, open to a mix of classes, or for the entire LASA population. As host, you determine your audience and size of your event. We suggest a ticket price of $30/ guest, but each event is unique and we are happy to work with you if you feel your event meets a lower or higher ticket price.

Some hosts come up with a theme but there is no pressure. Some ideas from the past: wine, beer or scotch tastings, yoga class, balloon twisting, blackjack, V day, Halloween.. You can elect to host in your home or at a venue.

How to host? Simply fill out the GGs Interest Form with all the dates and details of your event and someone will get in touch with you promptly!

Save the Date! 3rd Annual Gift Card Gala / Moms HH on 9/27

Dear Raptor Moms,

You are all cordially invited to join us for the 3rd Annual Gift Card Gala on Saturday Sept. 27th, benefiting the Class of 2026 Project Graduation fundraising efforts. This event is a traditional PFLASA Great Gathering (more on that later) and as with many things at LASA, this is a pay-it-forward act—and open to moms of ALL Classes!

In order to “enter” this Gala, we are kindly asking you to bring an unused gift card (suggested value of $25 or more) as your “ticket fee”.
We will take all of these gift cards and add them to the Class of 2026 Online Auction in November.

Have unused Gift Cards laying around your house? You can donate those too! If you are going out to buy a new gift card for this event, please consider a restaurant, a store or somewhere popular that you know will sell in the auction.

Please view details and sign-up here.

SchoolPool for Carpool Options

LASA is working with SchoolPool, a carpool matching program. This is a program which can help you find others in your area and set up carpools to and from bus hubs and/or LASA. It can also be helpful to coordinate for afterschool activities, or LASA sporting event.

To get started, simply fill out the interest form using the QR code, or use this link.
