The Capital City Marching Festival returns to the Toney Burger Center on September 26, 2026, and LASA Raptor Band needs volunteers to help make this exciting event a success! More than 5,000 students, directors, and supporters from across Central Texas will gather for this annual celebration of high school marching bands. CapCity is a volunteer-driven event, and there are opportunities for adults, students, and families to help throughout the day.

Tom’s Coffee Truck is visiting LASA on Monday, September 14th, to fuel the parents and students on Bring Your Parents to School Day! Accepting pre-orders until noon on September 11th.

Interested in Archery? Come to one of two Try Archery events hosted by LASA Archery.
Try Archery is for LASA students who have never participated in NASP archery before and want to get a ‘taste’ before committing to the state or club teams.
No equipment required, but students should wear close-toed shoes and bring something to pull hair back, if needed. LASA Archery is a competitive archery team, qualifying for both State and Nationals.

Your LASA Volleyball Team is hosting Kona Ice at lunch, Tuesday, April 28th!
To celebrate a break in April Showers and May Flowers along with warmer weather ahead, come get a sweet treat at lunch to get you through the afternoon! They will be in the courtyard by the G-Annex.
Come out and support your LASA Raptors baseball team on Thursday, April 2nd. The first five teachers who arrive will get a Raptors baseball hat. Teachers will also be entered in a gift card raffle and provided with treats. We hope to see you there!
