The state provides LASA with just $78 per student in non-staffing funding. Yep, that’s right – only $78 a year to cover everything from buying classroom materials and equipment, to purchasing supplies to keep students safe and healthy and keep their classrooms cooled, repaired, and clean.
So we have an idea.
What if every LASA family who is able gave $78 to match the state’s contribution?
Or even better—$156 to DOUBLE the state’s contribution?
And here’s where it gets exciting:
We are still in our matching period, which means the first 100 donations this week will be matched!
That means:
$78 from a family → becomes $156
$156 from a family → becomes $312
