Each August, Principal Crescenzi takes incoming teachers and staff on a bus tour of the AISD boundary, stopping for breakfast in South Austin and lunch in North Austin, both hosted in LASA family homes. The tour gives a first-hand look at the communities our students come from.
This year’s event was a great success! Parents shared their perspectives during a breakfast panel, and students joined for lunch to meet their new teachers, share their experiences, and answer questions. The teachers and staff members were excited, engaged, and eager to join the LASA community.
