AP testing time is near. LASA administers AP tests for more than thirty different subjects over the course of 2 weeks in May. Starting sophomore year, the majority of students will be taking at least one AP test. This means a lot of tests and a lot of volunteers to make it all work. Signups will be going out in a few weeks with hundreds of volunteer slots for room and hall monitors. Keep an eye out for this great opportunity to help our students excel.
In the meantime, we have an immediate need for additional Proctors. LASA’s AP testing coordinator is looking for parents who are already substitutes with the district.
- Proctors must be Austin ISD substitutes.
- Proctors will be paid like any other substitute position.
- Proctors work 8 hours/ day.
- Hours can be either 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm, depending on the sub’s availability.
- Dates are May 4–8 and May 11–15
