7pm-8pm

Amity Courtois, Instructor

My current LASA senior will be attending college in Europe next year (stay tuned for exactly where). I am by no means an expert but we started researching the process of applying to colleges in Europe a couple of years ago and I’ve gathered quite a lot of information. I’m happy to share this with other parents that might be interested in the process.

Description

Have you ever considered the option of your student attending college abroad? Maybe you have an adventurous student who thinks going out of state isn’t quite far enough away from home or maybe your family has a connection to Europe and your child wants to get back to their roots or maybe you’re worried about the rising cost of college here in the US. There are many, many reasons to consider attending college abroad.

We will be discussing the application process, cost, and potential pitfalls of some of the different English programs in a few European countries. This is not a class on traditional study abroad programs arranged through US universities or private companies. This masterclass is on receiving a full bachelor’s degree in a European country. I will go over some of the details of the programs and countries I’ve thoroughly researched and give you resources to take a deeper dive if it sounds like something your family may be interested in.

The zoom link will be emailed to all the buyers two days before the class.  Be on the lookout for it.

Each ticket purchased is for one household to attend (i.e. student(s) and parent(s) in same family can share the link with each other).  Due to the nature of this type of class, it will not be recorded.
