This most popular south Indian appetizer is easy to make and delicious to munch on: a real party pleaser. 

Ingredients

    • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken cut into inch cubes – Any store
    • Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tbsp – Indian Store or some HEB’s carry it too (pic below)
    • Red Chilli powder or cayenne – 1 tbsp – Indian store or HEB (pic below)
    • lemon juice – 1 tbsp
    • yogurt – 1 tbsp
    • pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp – HEB (pic below)
    • garam masala – 1 tbsp – Indian store or HEB (pic below)
    • salt – 1 tbsp
    • turmeric – 1/4 tbsp – Indian store or HEB (pic below)
    • coriander powder – 1/2 tbsp – Indian store or HEB (pic below)
    • curry leaves – 10 (finely chopped) – Indian store (pic below)
    • oil to deep fry
    • rice flour or corn flour – 2 tbsp – Indian Store
    • coriander leaves (for garnish)
    • onion – thin long slices (finely chopped for garnish)
    • Tomato ketchup
    • Chillies – 4 – HEB or Indian store (pic below)
    • lemon – 1 (for garnish)

Before the Class

Marinate the chicken with salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder,
egg beaten, coriander powder, corn flour, lemon juice and mix all the ingredients well and set aside for an hour
before the class starts!
