Shenghao Wang, Instructor
Shenghao Wang is a 2012 LASA graduate, who went on to major in mathematics at MIT (’16) before pivoting to law school with the intention of returning home to pay it forward to the communities that raised him. He graduated from Harvard Law School this past May and is excited to start working in downtown Austin this coming January. He has served as an alumni interviewer for MIT for several years. He will share his insights from being an undergraduate applicant, interviewer, and law school applicant to help parents’ and students’ understand what the process is about and create a manageable plan to apply to colleges without tearing your hair out.
Mr. Wang will walk through the college admissions process with the perspective of an alum and interviewer to help students and parents understand what colleges and universities are looking for, how to position yourself for success while in grades 9 through 11, and what to emphasize on an application.
