7 PM CDT
Ashley Rios, Instructor
Ashley Rios is an experienced Professional School Counselor and currently serves as one of the Academic Counselors, at LASA. Driven by her deep desire to help others, she takes pride in providing the best counseling services in the educational setting.
Ms. Rios has served as a Professional School Counselor for almost 7 years. During this time, she’s read over hundreds of student resumes. She has a good eye in recognizing a well developed resume… but she’s also reviewed resumes that can really benefit from some tips and tricks!
Her “good eye” for resumes is also contributed by her experience in serving on multiple hiring committees within the last 10 years (for Counseling and Legal/Law positions). During that time, she’s collected, reviewed, and filtered through hundreds of resumes from adults.
Do you know how to write an impressive resume that stands out? Not sure where to start? Join this session! High school resumes should provide a snapshot of your accomplishments, involvements, and anything else that makes YOU stand out! During this session, we will go over simple, yet powerful tips, things to avoid and I will provide REAL samples of resumes.
This class is focused on STUDENTS. Parents are welcome to join, also.
