Yvonne Espinoza, Instructor

A native Austinite and graduate of Boston University, Yvonne Espinoza is a nationally recognized leader in the college counseling profession with over 20 years of experience. Yvonne worked as a full-time college counselor for Austin ISD for 19 years, worked as an admissions reader for the University of San Francisco, and is the sole owner of Yvonne Espinoza College Counseling Services, now in its 10th year of operation. Yvonne also was elected to serve on multiple national level college admissions committees including the Colleges That Change Lives Board of Directors (Treasurer), the Common Application Common Advisory Board, NACAC Ad-Hoc Committee Co-Chair, and Varsity Coach for ScholarMatch. Yvonne is also a Certified Educational Planner, a credential of college counseling excellence shared by only 5 other consultants in the Austin area.


During this master class, Yvonne Espinoza, CEP, will explain the steps 9th and 10th grade students can take to prepare for the college admissions process. Starting early can decrease stress during the 11th and 12th grade years! This session will include a 45 minute presentation and a 15 minute question and answer session.
