Dr. Traci Giuliano, Instructor

Dr. Traci Giuliano is a social psychology professor at Southwestern University. As a professor for 26 years, I love advising and mentoring students, as well as talking to high school students, about how to do well in college.

Description

In this one-hour interactive session, Dr. Giuliano will share her top 10 tips for doing well–both academically and socially–in college. Participants will first complete a short True/False “quiz” that assesses their intuitions about succeeding in college (e.g., “I need to know my major before I start college”, “Procrastinating works for me: The last minute pressure helps me do some of my best work”). The rest of the session will be spent going over the answers, giving examples, and answering participants’ questions.
