Consistently ranked as one of our nation’s and state’s best public high schools by Niche and U.S. News & World Report, the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) provides unique learning opportunities, specialized curriculum, and rigorous academics to all its students.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3), Parents and Friends of LASA (PFLASA) is a resource for teachers, parents, guardians, and students at LASA.
- We organize events to build a sense of school community.
- We keep families and students informed through Facebook and weekly LOTS of LASA newsletters, and other communications.
- We raise funds for books, classroom materials, technology, AP tests, teacher and staff professional development, educational and community events, and equipment and resources that enhance students’ education. In 2015-16, we made significant, important investments in technology by helping LASA purchase 510 new Computers on Wheels (COWs) and purchasing desktop computers for the Robotics, Electronic Magazine, and Yearbook classes
PFLASA offers a way for parents, grandparents, alumni, and community members to come together to support LASA and its students. We hope you’ll join us!
